Westby’s Highland Ranch, located in Lake Placid, Highlands County, Florida, devotes 400 acres to the production of citrus. We grow Hamlin and Valencia oranges for the processed juice market. We also produce Navel, Murcott, Sunburst, and Fall Glow citrus, as well as Flame grapefruit, for the fresh fruit market. 

Westby’s founders began growing citrus in the late 1950s in Hardee County, Florida.  We have had citrus operations at Highlands Ranch since 1988. Total production is approximately 100,000 boxes, the majority of which are Valencia. We employ fertilizer and spray programs in furtherance of our objective to produce the highest quality citrus possible.

Westby is a member of Highlands Citrus Growers Association and Florida Citrus Mutual.

Through Westby Corporation, Westby Highlands Ranch has been in continuous family ownership for nearly 50 years.
